Yardage Book, operated by WGT Solutions LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), runs the websites golfyardagebook.com and shop.golfyardagebook.com (together, the "Site") and related content channels. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it's used and shared, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

Order information — when you purchase from our store, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, phone number (if provided), and details of what you ordered. Checkout and payment are processed by Shopify and its payment providers; we never see or store your full credit card number.
Email address — when you subscribe to our email list (e.g., to receive the free Drop Rules Cheat Sheet) or contact us.
Communications — if you email us or submit inquiries, we receive your message and contact details.

Information collected automatically:

Usage data — pages visited, referring pages, device type, browser, approximate location (city/region level), and timestamps, collected via our hosting and analytics providers.

2. How We Use Your Information

To process, fulfill, and ship your orders, and to send order confirmations and tracking updates;
To deliver the free cheat sheet and other content you request;
To send emails you've opted into (educational golf rules content, product announcements, offers);
To provide customer support, including handling reprint claims for damaged or defective items;
To improve the Site, our products, and user experience;
To measure the performance of our marketing, including advertising campaigns;
To prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade your email address.

3. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate and improve the Site:

Essential cookies — needed for the Site and shopping cart to function.
Analytics — to understand how visitors use the Site.
Advertising / Meta Pixel — we use the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our ads, build audiences, and deliver relevant advertising. The Pixel may share data with Meta about your interactions with the Site, which Meta uses subject to its own privacy policy.

We share personal information only with the service providers who make the store work, and only what each needs:

Shopify — hosts our store, processes checkout and payments, and stores order and customer records on our behalf.
Printify — our print-on-demand fulfillment partner, which receives your name, shipping address, and order contents so your items can be produced and shipped. Shipments are carried by major carriers (e.g., USPS, FedEx, DHL), which receive your delivery details.
Email service providers — to manage our subscriber list and send the emails you've opted into.
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — advertising, pixel tracking, and ad measurement.
Analytics and hosting providers — to operate and secure the Site.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

5. Email Communications & Unsubscribing

If you subscribe to our email list, you'll receive content and occasional promotional emails. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe at any time by contacting us at info@golfyardagebook.com. We honor unsubscribe requests promptly. Transactional emails about an order you placed (confirmations, shipping updates) are sent regardless of marketing preferences.

6. Data Retention

We retain order records as long as needed for accounting, tax, and legal purposes. We retain your email address and subscription preferences until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Usage and analytics data are retained per our providers' retention policies. If you request deletion, we'll remove or anonymize your personal data unless we're legally required to keep it.
